We had room 218 - it faced a roof top - which was fine. The room was studio size, so we kept our luggage on the couch. King size bed, a bit on the firm side for me. We had our own mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. We were provided additional pillows, and Body Wash Refills, which I requested using the Bonvoy App. We were on the 2nd floor, which was perfect as we used the stairs instead of the elevator. There was a hot Buffet Breakfast every morning until 11:00 a.m. It included 2 types of Eggs, Sausage Patties, Oatmeal, Waffles (assorted toppings), Breads, Muffins, Bagels, Toast, Donuts, Bananas, Oranges, Cut Up Fruit, Yogurts, Coffee, Fruit Juices. Sometimes cut up Meats and Cheese. Certainly enough choice for even the pickiest of eaters! On the Weekends, you get a free small glass of wine (Red or White), or a glass of Beer during Happy Hour. I'd like to recognize 2 Employees that went above an beyond during our stay. Rhonda - who was able to link my Marriot Bonvoy Account to our booking, as well as direct me to Robert - General Operations. I had booked in person tickets to the Rockettes Christmas Spectacular, and never received a confirmation email with the tickets. Robert took me into the Breakfast area, and used his cell number to call RCMH Customer Service. After a 45+ minute hold time, I was connected to a Representative, who advised me that my email address had been entered incorrectly. After making 2 corrections, she re-send the email. I received it within 30 minutes, and was able to add my tickets to my Google Wallet - crisis averted! Both Rhonda and Robert were very congenial, and we interacted with them many times. Overall all, I Highly Recommend this Hotel for anyone visiting NYC. We were about a 15 minute walk to Times Square, Subway stations were around the block. Also very close to Madison Square Gardens. TIP - Arrange transportation to LGA with the Hotel - $65.00 for both of us and all our Luggage.

We absolutely loved the hotel. The staff, including Jeffrey, Christian with the Mohawk, Ryan at the check-in desk and Daniel the security guard all were amazing from the moment we walked in the door until the moment we left. The room was perfectly adequate for us although I can see where people travelling with large suitcases might find the rooms small. But they were clean and kept clean by the friendly domestic staff. And furthermore, in a city like New York, how much time do you want to spend in your room!! Breakfast was kept stocked up and had plenty of options. We might have travelled in a quieter period but there was always plenty of space to sit. Some comments on this site have been about the poor lift situation, and yes, with only two lifts you can wait from time to time but we were more than happy to walk the stairs to our room despite being on the ninth floor. We might have had to stop occasionally though! Overall it was a perfect stay within walking distance of many attractions. We would definitely stay here again in the future! And finally, the free happy hour from 17:00-18:00 daily was a perfect added bonus.

Location is great! Everything close by" Times Square, Empire state, High line, Macy's.Take the train to Penn station, next block Amtrak station or bus Port Authority very easy from Newark airport for example. Buy a 7 day subway pass! Several lines within a few blocks! Very nice staff, sure busy hotel but everything works with a bit of patience. Never seen a hotel who restocks the breakfast so fast great work guys! AC broke down but fixed within 20 minutes by Victor great guy! Room was superclean we checked it housekeeping does a great work. Billed same price as booking after checking out, before reserved with a little higher probably a deposit. Laundry machines in basement you can work out after walking around 8 hours a day :) Room size is OK as European :) Best experience was Fly Nyon open doors helicopter ride.

Excellent location, good size comfortable rooms. The hotel bar and lobby were always busy (but in a good way). Plenty of opportunities to relax after a hard day’s sightseeing! Rooms were well equipped, with comfortable beds. Breakfast was a bit of a nightmare- sooo busy at times that the food options ran out and took a long time to be replaced (if at all). One day there was no butter available! Mum market is available 24/7 and can help if you have any urgent ’needs’ (like chocolate at 2am!) Very easy to get to the main attractions either via walking or on the subway. Right around the corner from Maddison Square Gardens. If you choose to have breakfast at the hotel, get up early (go in your PJ’s if needed- it’s a thing!)

The hotel has a great location few blocks away from Times square what ensures that noise is far away. The room had no spectacular view, it was looking at small inside yard but it also helped that it was really quite compared to being in New York city. The room is bigger than the avarage in the city. Bathroom was tidy and clean. The bed is just fine. Breakfast was included which is a really good thing as you don't have to chase food in the morning and can go right after breakfast to see sights. Hair dryer can be found in the room (it was not listed within equipments) so you don't need to take one with you. A lot of public transport is in close proximity.
